The Suggested Preamble to the Twelve Steps is usually read just prior to the reading of the Twelve Steps for reading by meeting participants. The Al-Anon Declaration is often read at the end of the meeting. The Serenity Prayer often opens and closes the meeting. Each of these readings is rich in recovery and spirituality.
