2019 Al-Anon Convention Scholarship

Convention Scholarship applications are closed for the 2019 convention.

To include as many Al-Anon's as possible, the Convention Committee has organized a limited number of partial scholarships for those in need.

Scholarship Request

Registration for the convention is $40. Please enter the amount you can contribute. The minimum amount is $5.

Eligibility

Tradition Seven suggests, "Every group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions." In honoring this Tradition, District 8 donations should be used for District 8 members. Therefore, this scholarship is available to Al-Anons and Alateens in District 8 (Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez Valley meetings) only.

Deadline

All applications must be received on or before, Tuesday, October 5, 2019 in order to be eligible for consideration. You will be notified of the amount of scholarship you will receive by email or text message.

Additional Information

The committee will mail checks (payable to 2016 AA Convention) to eligible applicants. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis until the scholarship fund is depleted.
